- Regularly write science articles for teenagers for a newsmagazine publisher in Connecticut. HealthEdit contributes articles to the magazine several times a year.
- Completed a rush job to write a 5,000-word book for a major book and newsmagazine publisher for children. Stories had to be chosen, researched, and tightly written within a one-month time frame. HealthEdit finished the project on time and received praise from in-house editorial staff for the writing style and topic selection.
- Completed four books in a biotechnology series for teenagers, for client of a custom book publisher in Connecticut. The publisher called HealthEdit because the original author's text fell short of the assigned word count, was poorly organized, awkwardly written, and showed that the author didn't have a true grasp of the material. HealthEdit heavily edited the first book under a tight deadline and wound up completely rewriting the second and third books. We also wrote the fourth book from scratch. Each title, per the editor and publisher, exceeded the client's goals.
- Edited several PowerPoint slide sets for a major medical communications company in New Jersey. The slides were geared primarily for a medical audience and needed to be edited for a nursing audience. The client praised HealthEdit's work and said the presentations were extremely well received and that a number of the nurse-participants said it was the best seminar they had ever attended.
